The joy of safari

After an emotional day yesterday saying our goodbyes to the village we set off for mvuu camp at liwonde national park. When we arrived at the safari we entered the camp site by boat. Once we set up our tents in the dark we had braii (south African for BARBEQUE). Also it was a BUFFET so we were so so so happy. we were able to celebrate Alex's birthday with 2 cakes and 5 African waiters singing 10 choruses of happy birthday. The following morning we woke up at 5:15 for a boat safari in which we spotted: elephants, monkeys, warthogs, waterbuck, loads of birds, hippos and crocodiles. We had a full cooked breakfast and went straight out for our game drive where we were lucky enough to see: elephants, impala, kudus, zebras, antelopes, monkeys and baboons. Then we travelled back to packchere hostel for our final meal in Malawi (burgers) ye boy!!! Anna
