Smashing!

Moni. Today was a chilly day, it was cloudy and it rained. We started repainting the classroom built in 2014 by TGS which was very satisfying. We were compacting the foundation of the floor for the second classroom with the stompy things. They are heavy and named Titan, Brent, Clint and Richard. Anna stomped 210 times and won the record. Phoebe V.W then attempted to impress the builders with her hoeing and hit her leg (I'm okay Dad).
Guess what we had for lunch?
Once again there was a swarm of children making it difficult to get anything done. Stevie taught us Chichewa (the man, the myth, the legend) and we started brick laying for the classroom. By Anna, Megan and Phoebe V.W

  4. Hi Phoebs. Looks like progress. Uncle I & Auntie H staying and impressed with all your graft. Sorry I can't write German, or plait hair or twerk. I read 'swarm of children' as 'swarm of chicken' (at 50 there is no 20:20)and thought you were in for a feast. Whoops. Loads of loving from us all x

  10. Phoebe (vW), why am I not surprised that you have ended up with some kind of injury...its normal practice when you go away. Did you laugh when it happened (hoe, hoe, hoe)? Hope that is does not hurt too much and you are still able to work ;-)

Enjoy your last week, looking forward to you coming home.

  15. Hi Grace, You're going to come back with really big muscles. Who needs the gym anyway.... All you need is a mound of earth and a big pile of rocks in the back garden.
